The Management

Management

Muslim-female-silhouette Tasnim Asgharali Jaffer (Moshi,Tanzania)

The Lord said:

INDEED I AM GOING TO APPOINT A KHALIFA UPON THE EARTH (Al Bakara…30)

The world when was set with all its neccesities for the smooth living of the man, the Lord then appointed His first ever man upon this planet as His vicegerent, naming him Adam. This was the first establishment set up by the Lord Himself which began with a pair of humans whom He Himself had not only chosen, but named them as well. This vicegerent was then followed by more men as his offspring, with some of them distinguished as his successors, whom we know as Prophets.

The vicegèrent is a person who accomplishes all the tasks with purity just as if the Lord Himself has performed them.

This man is given all the knowledge needed for the living upon this planet and hence teaches his offspring as well, for the well-management of the planet. He is in fact the representative of the Lord in this world and all that it holds within it.

Since the base of each institution begins from the home, and has to have a Head of the family who lays down the laws and regulations which the members of the household should necessarily follow, it is this same institution which then expands gradually under different labels and stretches outwards covering the entire world.

Just as no institution can be properly managed without having an efficient head, so too, the world needs an efficient leader who is the best as a guide for the inhabitants of the world. This guide is chosen by the true master of the world and is provided with the correct knowledge to lead his people in all times of their need, so he has to be the best in everything required during that period of time.

Since the time limit of the stay of a man  in this world is finite, and so, to overcome this necessity of men, the Lord continued sending the Prophets one by one. Each of the prophets would name his successor before departing from the earth.

The chosen prophets continued to come and guide the people of their time and age, until lastly, it was the time of our Holy Prophet (s.a.w) who was going to put the seal upon the coming of any future prophets.

But the world was supposed to continue even after the demise of this last prophet, and since the world cannot remain without a guide and a leader, so the system of the lmams was placed in its stead.

This was not a new system, for some Prophets were lmams as well which we can understand from the Holy book itself, such as when Hazrat Ibrahim (a.s) was elevated to the status of Imam, he questioned if his offspring too will be given that charge. (Al Bakara….124)

Now, it was a sad day and a sad moment.  The corpse of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.) lay upon his mattress with just a few of his true companions besides it. The washing and shrouding of the corpse was a necessity before the burial process. But most of his companions had just vanished from the scene, for they had decided to go against the command of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) and choose their own new leader instead.

Even though the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) had named his successors time and again since the beginning of his mission, some of the elites decided to take the helm of leadership into their own hands, thus going against his will.

To achieve their horrible plan, they took advantage of this moment when there would be no opposition to it and thus succeed in fulfilling it.

That is exactly what happened and the system set by the Lord, now, fell apart.

But to run the system of the Lord, you need to have the complete knowledge of running the system, just as an administrator of an institution must have the complete knowledge about the institution. As these worldly leaders had no deep knowledge, so, the deviation from the religion now came into progress.

One after the other, these usurpers and hypocrites continued their rule upon the masses in the name of lslam without being aware of the true rulings and requisites of it. But, some of the masses disregarded them, and continued upon the path which the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) had left behind, sticking up to his teachings and his named successors.

These Holy lmams too, had a difficult time to guide and maintain the true spirit of lslam as they themselves were being targeted by their enemies together with their followers. The fabric of lslam got torn apart with patches appearing upon it. Different offshoots emerged and continued to drain it of its purity while the true successors of the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) were assassinated by the usurping tyrants who used different means to kill them.

Thus, eleven out of the twelve successors named by the Holy Prophet (s.a.w) were assassinated by the usurpers and the tyrants.

Now, it is the time of our Saviour, hidden by the Lord, though present amongst us, but cannot be observed by us. He will gradually reappear when the Lord deems it best, but he will need us to support him if we will to live in some bliss.

No government can be run without the support of its people, so, until and unless we are willing to be rid of today’s system of corruption, killings and injustices, we will fail to pave the ground for the reappearance of our Saviour.

We need to work on ourselves and not only learn the true beliefs and teachings of lslam, but follow them as well, while all the while passing our knowledge to those who are ignorant about it in the correct manner, together with praying for the reappearance of our last Saviour.

This is the only way in which we can not only save ourselves, but the world as well, for it has been given to us as a trust, with our Leader waiting for us to begin the process of change from the evilness it has accumulated throughout all these years of indifference.

May we succeed in paving the path for our Saviour and become a source of help to him in his mission, which in reality is for our own benefit. Ameen.
