Aliasgher Mohamedraza Janmohammed was part of panel discussions at the eGov Foundation annual dialogue Shaping Africa’s Future with DPI (Digital Public Infrastructure)

He spoke about how governments around the world can work towards creating a single digital identity for their residents, reducing the burden of fragmented systems on the user. Most importantly, Aliasgher also talked about keeping the user in mind when creating or procuring such software – only offering services that are useful and needed by residents, not what we feel they may need. Finally, Aliasgher spoke about the value of decentralised platforms that allow microservices to be developed and enable different role players to contribute to the government system.

eGov Dialogues brings together leaders in public service delivery to collaborate, learn, and innovate.
