The quest for knowledge is incumbent upon every human being. Knowledge is the yardstick for knowing the lawful versus unlawful, the lamp on the path of paradise, an intimate friend in the darkness, a companion in loneliness, a confidante in his solitude & an adornment among friends.

Knowledge enlivens hearts from ignorance, through it humans can attain the stations of the virtuous. Imam Ali a s said: “Seeking knowledge is more important for you than seeking wealth, since wealth is guaranteed & pre-ordained by our Lord who distributes it among you , whereas knowledge is only deposited with those who are worthy of it, & you have been commanded to seek it from any sources far or near or from those who possess it. So seek it.

Reading, recollecting, knowing and educating yourself is equal in status to fasting, & teaching it or conveying it, is equal in status to lengthily praying”. By virtue of it,the Lord is obeyed & worshipped, family ties are maintained, & the lawful is distinguished from prohibited. Knowledge is first & action follows. The fortunate are inspired by it the wretched are deprived of it, so be the fortunate & the worthy!

You will find it a means of happiness in this world & the next & means of attaining nearness to Allah swt.
Know that Allah swt created the celestial ( outer space) and earthly realms for the sake of knowledge. The best way to come nearer to Him is through knowledge “Only Allah’s servants with knowledge fear him” – Quran (35:28).

Knowledge is the key to success.
