Yusuf Shafiqali Khaki
2000-2013
Yusuf Shafiqali Khaki died tragically at the age of twelve in a building collapse in Dar es Salaam. His absence has left an agonizing vacuum in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Yusuf was a dynamic individual with unlimited compassion and infectious humour. His enthusiasm for life was profound, and his smile lit up every room he entered. He exuded kindness and warmth, touching everyone he met. Yusuf oozed pure and unabashed delight, whether he was playing with friends, reading a book, or simply lost in his imaginary world.
Yusuf grew up in Dar es Salaam and enjoyed the community’s lively vitality. He excelled in the presence of people, developing close relationships with his family and friends. Yusuf saw school as an opportunity for exploration.
Yusuf’s light may have gone out too soon, but the warmth of his memories will endure. His exuberant laughter will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, a continual reminder of the happiness he brought to the world. His unflinching compassion will inspire others to continue spreading kindness in a society that sorely needs it.
Though his physical presence is gone, Yusuf’s spirit lives on. He will be remembered forever. May his memory be a source of strength and comfort to his family and friends.
May Yusuf’s soul be in eternal peace, and may his memory continue to bless and uplift us all.
May Allah SWT repose the departed soul in the abundance of His mercy and rest her amongst the chosen ones – Ameen. We request our readers to remember marhum and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
