Attitude
It is estimated human beings get around 50,000 thoughts per day.
Many of them – 80%+ are negative – angry, fearful, pessimistic, worrisome.
Learning to take negative thoughts less seriously, is infinitely more effective if you wish to be more peaceful.
When you have a thought – any thought that’s all it is, a thought! It can’t hurt you without your consent.
Once you identify negative thoughts, challenge them by asking if they are realistic and evidence-based.
Negative thoughts are distorted or exaggerated. This involves making assumptions, catastrophising ie: the worst possible outcome, or overgeneralization! if you ignore or dismiss a negative thought that fills your mind, a more peaceful feeling is only a moment away. And in a more peaceful state of mind, your wisdom and common sense will tell you what to do.
” If you have the mindset of taking everything positively, you will enjoy each moment of life whether in pressure or pleasure
