Marhum Yasin Nurmohamed
1941–2025

Marhum was a devoted and selfless servant of the community. Born on 15th February 1941 in Mombasa, Marhum dedicated his life to community service, holding key leadership roles.

He served as Honorary Secretary during the tenure of Marhum Asgharbhai Bharwani and later as Vice President under Marhum Pyaralibhai Shivji. His invaluable contributions extended to the Mataka/Maweni housing projects and the Welfare Committee, where he played a pivotal role in improving the lives of many. Marhum’s unwavering commitment and dedicated service have left behind a lasting legacy that will be remembered with gratitude and respect.

He passed away on 25th February 2025 in Wessex, UK, leaving behind his beloved wife, three sons, and four grandchildren.

May Allah SWT repose the departed soul in the abundance of His mercy and rest him amongst the chosen ones – Aameen. We request our readers to remember marhum and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
