One of the ahadith says: Man maatta alaa hubbi ale Mohammad, maata shahida
One who dies in the love of Aale Muhammad dies like a martyr
With a very sad and heavy soul, we received the very sad news of the passing away of Dr Mazaheir Punja on 1st March 2021.
Dr Mazaheir was an obedient son, a supportive brother, a loving and caring husband and father and an ideal human being too.
He was a zakir of Imam Hussain a.s, and his majlis on the wafat of Bibi Fatema (as) at Arusha Kabrastan a few weeks ago is proof of his intense love of the holy household (as). I am still crying when I remember how Dr Mazaheir cried immensely when he was reciting the masaib of Sayyida Fatema (as).
O BIBI ZAHRA, we implore you to do shafaat for your servant and may Allah grant him proximity with the Ahlul Bait (AS)
He was also a lover of the Holy Qur´an, a sportsman, a man who had good hobbies, always well dressed and confident and most of all, he was an excellent dentist who tackled the most difficult dental challenges with skill and grace.
Though he was a very busy man, he always took out time to prepare majalis, recite them, and he made time to ponder upon the Holy Qur´an. He also took part in the AFED Qur´an competition. He made time for everything.
He was a man who valued his family a lot. Seen from time to time, taking breaks with his siblings and family.
He also liked going on outings organised by the community. He was a man who liked to enjoy life, which is a gift from Allah.
Whenever we used to go for dental care to him, we always saw him doing dhikr of Allah when he was working, subhanallah. And he treated one and all with a gentle hand and a caring disposition.
In a short span of time, he lived to the fullest, mashallah.
We grieve with the Punja family, who have lost their beloved, and we, the Arusha KSIJ Jamaat, also grieve for having lost a mo’min brother and a gem of a person.
May Allah s.w.t shower his pious soul with His Rahmah and grant him an elevated position amongst the Ahlulbayt in jannah amen.
And may Allah SWT also grant his family sabre jameel to bear this huge loss, Aameen.
May Allah SWT repose the departed soul in the abundance of His mercy and rest him amongst the chosen ones – Aameen. We request our readers to remember marhum and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
