Marhum Adnan Tahirali Sadiq, born in Karachi, Pakistan to a Bohora family, passed away in 2021. He leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, unwavering dedication, and a love for literature.

He was a man of few words, but those who knew him understood the depth of his character. His sense of humour, often hidden behind a serene demeanour, brought joy to those fortunate enough to share his company. His love for books was a constant companion, and it was through reading Islamic texts that he found solace and purpose, leading him to embrace the Shiá Ithna Asheri faith.

Our paths crossed in 1999, and our shared ideals led to a marriage proposal. On August 3rd, 2000, we embarked on a journey together – a journey marked by companionship, understanding, and mutual respect. Adnan’s family became mine, and their warmth enveloped me.

Honesty and hard work defined Adnan’s life. He valued time as a precious resource, investing it wisely in personal growth and work-related endeavours. His progress was a testament to his diligence and determination.

As we bid farewell to Adnan, we remember a man who lived quietly but left an indelible mark on our hearts. His legacy lives on in the memories we hold dear.

“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.” To Allah we belong, and to Him, we shall return.

May Adnan’s soul find eternal peace, Aameen

May Allah SWT repose the departed soul in the abundance of His mercy and rest him amongst the chosen ones – Aameen. We request our readers to remember marhum and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
