Nasira Naushadali Champsi

“You never said I’m leaving, you never said goodbye. You were gone before we knew it, and only God knew why. A million times we needed you, a million times we cried. If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts, you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home.” Author unknown

Words overflow like a fount for our Nasira Naushadali Champsi – wife, mother, grandmother and friend who lived a beautiful life from start to end. Nasira Naushad champsi gained her angel wings on April 26, 2021, in Nairobi, Kenya

Nasira was born to Mohammed Hussein Champsi and Batul Champsi in Zanzibar, Tanzania on March 11, 1951

Nasira’s life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were Blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.

Nasira was talented in so many aspects of her life. She was a genius with words and writing even though she never pursued that path. Nasira was also an amazing baker. Aside from that, Nasira enjoyed making artistic flower arrangements and was an amazing dressmaker too. Most importantly Nasira was a terrific mom. Her children were her life.

Nasira was affectionately known by, unconditionally, unselfishly loving her children and supported them all her life through the many highs and difficulties of their lives.

She was also passionate about her faith.

In her free time, she enjoyed spending quality time praying and spending time with her Grandchildren who she proudly doted over and spoiled every chance she got and exercising her artistic talent of flower arrangement.

Nasira was unselfish to a fault. Often neglecting the needs of herself for the needs and well-being of her many friends and family.

She always got the job done and could fight a good fight for you.

Nasira will be desperately missed by all those that she’s left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this unexpected loss. She was one of a kind and to be loved by her was to be truly blessed.

Nasira Naushadali Champsi is survived by her three daughters Sukaina, Aiman and Sajida and Nine grandchildren, Zaynab Asma, Zahra Mariam, Sana Fatima, Kaunain Ali, Ali Akbar, Manal Fatima, Ayin E Fatema, Imran Hussein and Nasira Zahra( beautifully named after her)

May Allah SWT repose the departed soul in the abundance of His mercy and rest her amongst the chosen ones – Ameen. We request our readers to remember marhum and all the Marhumeen with Sura-e-Fateha.
