T
he advent of technology that seemed like magic
Has brought about consequences so tragic
As we allow our human connections to slip away
And decrease the use of our brains’ matter gray
Greeting a friend in person has turned into a challenge
Yet we have thousands of greetings in digital range
The heart to heart connections are no more
Ties with everyone is by numbers and score
AI barged in to replace the human consultation
Do we see this as a mercy or human race extinction?
When chat gpt writes for me, why do I need to think?
Why should I struggle when from Google’s cup I can drink?
Who is to blame, for the digital industry’s powerful influence?
Who is accountable, for the human race’s negligence?
Sooner than one identifies what is happening or even realize
Human race will turn into zombies to materialize
Spell tests and Mental math are alien terms
Digital services allowed ways to affirm
Calculators and spell checks were meant to confirm
But the ease in these made them penetrate like germs
Social media accounts thrive
Keeping updated with all, everyone strives
Likes and tags becoming a reason to survive
No growth in process, no learning to derive
Man was created the most supreme
With potential to fulfill every dream
Use every object at his disposal so as to rise
Does the digital industry this goal suffice?
This invention had an objective to serve
To have mastery over man, it does not deserve
O human, ponder, reflect and mind your nerve
Your life should not take a downward curve
